Andrew has a Bachelor in Geological Engineering with Honours from RMIT, along with almost 24 years’ experience in Environmental Consulting. He draws on this industry experience to think outside the box & find solutions when competitors tell clients it can’t be done, or will cost many times more to achieve. He loves proving the ‘experts’ wrong, using simple tools & doing what others think is impossible or unachievable.

When not at work he enjoys spending time with family & friends, relaxing at the beach, trail bike riding & bushwalking. He also spent a decade learning martial arts, before hanging up his multiple black belts & taking up street latin dancing, where he has twice won the Amateur Australian Championship.

Tony holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (Hons) from the University of NSW. He is also a Fellow of Engineers Australia & a member of the Institution of Chemical Engineers Australia. Tony has over 30 years’ experience in the environmental contracting & project management industry delivering remediation projects - from concept to completion. This included a key focus on emerging remedial methods & technologies.

As well as being one of the founding Directors of TRACE, Tony leads Project Management & Business Development.

Tony’s biggest passion is family. He loves spending time relaxing with them, especially watching Rugby League!

Ken* has over 22 years’ experience, briefly working in the oil industry in Canada before moving into environmental consulting. He holds a Bachelor of Geology & is a Certified Environmental Practitioner with a specialist Site Contamination Certification.

His biggest passion is helping others & this drives him in the work he does to find solutions to difficult problems. His years in the industry have taught him that there are always different solutions to any problem & it gives him immense satisfaction finding the perfect one.

Ken also enjoys helping animals, being actively involved in dog rescue for 15 years.

Aaron has been with TRACE since we started in 2014, & is a Certified Environmental Practitioner with Environmental Institute of Aust and NZ.  He has over 13 years’ experience in the industry & holds a B. Chemical Engineering, B. Environmental Science, & Masters in Environmental Engineering. Aaron is one of our Principal Engineers managing major accounts. He loves a challenge & doesn’t shy away from taking on ‘impossible’ projects. His strength lies in his thoughtful & thorough approach.

Aaron loves nature & watching things grow, however plants don’t always love him – He is currently on his 3rd attempt at cultivating a flourishing garden in his backyard. A self-confessed nerd, he is also passionate about science.

Jack holds a Bachelor & Masters in Geological Science from the University of Leeds. You will often find him onsite doing important fieldwork, testing & investigations. As well as his scientific work, he is also our WHS Coordinator making sure we are exceeding all Health & Safety standards.

Jack has a strong interest in fitness & health which is only overtaken by his passion for hot chips (any suggestions on where he can find authentic English fish & chips welcome).

He loves that his work makes a difference to our environment & believes that the future lies in making sure the world is going to be a safer place for the people that come after us.

Siva has worked as a consultant in land & groundwater contamination and remediation for over 16 years. Prior to that he worked as a marine scientist with the Victorian Department of Primary Industries. He holds a PhD in Marine Science, Masters in Aquatic Sciences & a Masters in Environmental Management.

As one of our Senior team, Siva is involved in a wide range of projects which include groundwater and land contamination assessment, reports, project management, and field work. He is passionate about preserving the environment and this passion drives him in his role here at TRACE.

Siva also enjoys watching cricket & football and is an ardent Geelong Cats supporter.

Sidonie has over 12 years’ experience in sales, marketing, communications & business development, and a Bachelor of Media from Macquarie University. With a strong background in business events, she is passionate about bringing people together to share ideas & find solutions to business needs; especially utilising emerging technology. This drives her at TRACE to make sure we are fostering long-term relationships with our clients & providing solutions that are tailored to individual needs.

Sidonie also enjoys unleashing her creative side on all things visual & marketing for TRACE. Her creative drive is fuelled outside of work, training & performing with her latin dance team. She also loves spending time outdoors with her husband & kids.

Edgar, known to everyone as Ed, was TRACE’s first employee after our directors & has been a dedicated team member since. He received his Bachelor of Engineering from UNSW & has worked in various industries before joining TRACE. You will often find Ed out on the road doing fieldwork. He loves that his work takes him to many different places and involves lots of time outdoors. He is also driven by the satisfaction of doing a good job for the client.

Outside of work, he loves watching sport & catching up with friends. But his biggest passion is Classic cars, particularly late 60s to early 90s. His most recent restoration project was a 79 Datsun.

Pat holds a Bachelor of Environmental Science (specialising in catchment management) from Charles Sturt University & joined our graduate development program several years ago. What drew him to this field is that he has always had a passion for sustainability. Most of his spare time is spent as a volunteer team coordinator for the UN Association of Aust. NSW sustainability team. This involves raising awareness of UN sustainable development goals & creating mutually beneficial partnerships with non-profit & corporate organisations.

He loves the varied nature of contaminated land assessment work & how it takes him between the office & the outdoor environment for field work.

Dan joined TRACE after 5 years working in Science, Agriculture and Education. He brings with him a wealth of scientific knowledge which he applies to his environmental fieldwork & reporting for a range of projects. He is passionate about learning new skills through trial and error and this drives him to look at innovative ways to apply his scientific knowledge for the betterment of the environment. 

He holds a Bachelor of Science, Masters in Secondary Education, Certificate II in both Agriculture & Horticulture, and a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.

His other passions include motorcycles, mechanics, karate, reading & gardening.

Ramya has Masters in Professional Accounting & is finalising her MBA. She is responsible for overseeing our Quality Management System, making sure we are operating to the highest standards.

Ramya loves learning & picking up new skills. This is facilitated by the varied nature of her work and being able to interact with all facets of the business. She loves the team environment at TRACE & how her role involves working with everyone in the team.

Ramya has a passion for craft, especially making paper decorations. She also enjoys baking & cooking, particularly making traditional Indian dishes that remind her of her hometown.

Jason has been working in the legal field for over 13 years. In addition to his Bachelor of Law with First Class Honours, he also holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Computing), Master of Commerce, & Master of Intellectual Property Law. Jason advises TRACE on all legal matters including government, regulatory & commercial requirements for our clients. He loves that everyday is different to the next in his work. He enjoys a challenge & coming up with practical solutions that work.

Jason has a passion for dancing & the gym, with a special interest in taking gym selfies. Recently he’s also found new joy in becoming a dad to a beautiful baby girl.
