       CHALLENGE

Project stalled due to contamination encountered. Cost to remediate (as advised by other consultants) would have blown the budget leaving the project in limbo & on the brink of receivership. The Private Certifying Authority (PCA) refused to issue a construction certificate (CC). Other consultants quoted minimum $400k Remediation Works (Vapour Barrier) which would result in significant project delays

       SOLUTION

TRACE Environmental found a $20k solution & completed this in 2 weeks to enable the Site Auditor to issue Site Audit Statement (SAS) and ultimately the PCA could issue the CC. Construction was able to continue & the bank were satisfied that the development was now viable

TRACE saved the project over $380k in reduced remediation costs (not including the time savings), and ultimately saved the project from being shut down
